Terms and Conditions

Payment – Yamaha Drum and Guitar Classes

  • A one-off enrolment fee of £25 is required upon enrolling at the school. This covers course book 1.
  • Group lessons are charged at £43.00 a month, which pays for 43 lessons throughout the academic year (September to August), equating to £12 per weekly lesson.
  • Lessons must be paid for on the 1st of each month via standing order.
  • The school will be operating for 45 lessons throughout the academic year, allowing each student 2 grace lessons a year (for holiday, illness etc). Which means a student with a 100% attendance will gain 2 free lessons!
  • Any payments made by cash or cheque for lessons will incur a £2 fee.
  • Any payments made after the 7th of the month will incur a £5 late fee for every week payment is overdue.
  • Tuition fees are subject to change and are reviewed on an annual basis.
  • No refunds can be given.

Payment – Yamaha Keyboard Classes

  • A one-off enrolment fee of £25 is required upon enrolling at the school. This covers  keyboard course book 1.
  • Group keyboard lessons are charged at £12.00 per lesson, payable for a half-term at a time at the first lesson of the period.
  • Lessons must be paid for on the 1st lesson of each term.
  • Any payments made after the 1st lesson of the month will incur a £5 late fee for every week payment is overdue.
  • Tuition fees are subject to change and are reviewed on an annual basis.
  • No refunds can be given.

Lessons and Requirements

  • Lessons are weekly though the school closes during some holidays and half terms.
  • A list of term times is available at reception and online. It is the student’s responsibility to keep up to date with our term times.
  • Group lessons host a maximum of 8 students and a minimum of 3 students.
  • Group lessons are one hour in duration.
  • Group lessons that fall to 3 students or below may be amalgamated with a group of a similar level.
  • If a group lesson falls to 2 students the lesson time will reduce to 45minutes.
  • Any absences or cancellations made by the student cannot be credited or refunded, however a replacement lesson may be offered under the tutor’s discretion.
  • Lessons cancelled by the tutor cannot be refunded or credited, but will be rearranged by that tutor for an alternative date. If the student cannot attend the arranged lesson the lesson will be lost.
  • Students are required to give a minimum of 3 weeks written notice upon leaving a course.
  • Food and drink is not permitted in the classrooms (capped water bottles only).
  • The school is fully insured for public liability but please note that parking your car on the school site is at your own risk.
